MISSION

After three years of active campaigning, non-formal initiative for animal rights Ljudjeza.org became For the animals!, society for assertion of animal rights.

For the animals!, forms conditions for the ceasing of the exploitation of living beings with addressing, motivating and putting positive pressure on all segments of the society.

The main goal of For the animals! is a society with a respectful and compassionate attitude towards non-human animals.

For the animals! was founded with the intention to establish and protect individual rights of non-human animals, together with the right to personal freedom, the right to physical integrity and the right to respect.

VISION

For the animals! will encourage individuals to collaborate in the society of solidarity. It will change those traditions that are based on exploitation, abuse and unjustified discrimination.

It will establish and protect individual rights of the non-human animals. It will start initiatives to form a community where everybody will respect the value and the meaning of every single creature on this planet. It will strive towards unconditional and complete abolition of unjust exploitation of the non-human animals.

For the animals! will transform macro level of the problem: it will influence legislation, have a distinguished reputation in the public eye and it will put a constructive pressure on politicians, economists and scientists. Its concetration will especially be directed towards the hidden problems of the society, towards the most sensitive spots of society's attitude towards non-human animals.

For the animals! will nurture positive activism: forming of strong feelings of solidarity and connection based on the acts of free will of ethically enlightened, well informed and determined individuals.

VALUES

- we believe that activism is the right way to transform the society into a more just one;

- our words mirror our actions: ideas we propagate are in accordance with our way of living;

- we communicate in a non-agressive manner: we avoid judgments, unfounded criticism and nurture responsibility toward the public opinion;

- we pass out credible information: everything we say, has an authenticatable background;

- we act self-confident: we don't persuade people, we insist on realization of our mission, when required we are able to adapt.

STRATEGIC GOALS

To achieve formal inclusion of animal rights into all spheres of our society. To achieve ecocentric legislation, that will exclude non-human animals from legislative regime that is valid for things. To draw in many active members.
